A Moveable Feast

The Feast Has Moved

Sorry for the long break...such is life when having babies, buying houses, securing mortgages and moving! The day my parents left for Canada, seven weeks after Anna was born, I started another post. I tried to finish it numerous times and never quite got there. I was feeling badly that seven weeks had passed and we only had one photo of Anya on the blog. You can imagine how negligent I feel now that she is four months old!

If I try to catch up, my post shall meet the same fate, so I'm going to try to do a very quick blog and post a few pictures every day (well, let's be realistic - maybe every other day or so) for the next while until you are able to catch up with this quickly moving feast.

Suffice it to say for now that the kids are fantastic. Lev is an ever-present joy. Anna is a delight (and still an easy baby!). Buxton (we're now living in the High Peak District in Derbyshire) is sleepy and slow, incredibly verdant and close to grandparents (well, one set anyway). We are enjoying the space, the pace, our English garden and vegetable patch, the rolling hills, the sheep and cows, and, well, I could go on and on.

I'll leave you with a couple recent photos to whet your appetite and then in my next post will try to fill in some of the many gaps from the past...
